“To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar” is about the adventures of three drag queens that travel cross-country. After winning a major New York drag queen contest, Vida Boheme (Patrick Swayze) and Noxeema Jackson (Wesley Snipes) receive the grand prize of a trip to Hollywood. An inexperienced drag princess Chi-Chi (John Leguizamo) begs and begs until he persuades them to take him with them on their trip. Renting an old beat up Cadillac the three set off for Los Angeles. So close but yet so far their car breaks down in the middle of nowhere and with just their charm and fashion sense the three transform the town and everyone who lives there by helping them find themselves.
